P2: #080 Go Dangerous!

P2: #080 Go Dangerous!
Black jelly with blue and copper glitter

Here's the third polish from P2's older collection "Lost In Glitter". I bought six of them so we're halfways through them now.

The formula is really good. I had no problems with application at all. I used two coats for full opacity. The drying time is good.

I stamped on it and black made me in the mood for having little skulls on my nails. The skulls are from the stamping plate "Chinese Characters-L035". I stamped with El Corazón's stamping polish "White" and dapped the hot pink on with a dotting tool. The hot pink is Lady Rose's #746.

Here is the end result, including a layer of topcoat.

I love black, white and hot pink together, and I really like the skulls as well.

This is the name of the stamping plate. I can't read Chinese, but I can read L035 :)

This is "Go Dangerous" alone; two coats and no topcoat yet. The glitter is so nice in this one.

Here's the second polish from P2's old collection "Lost In Glitter".

The formula is good. I hadn't any problems with application at all. I used three coats for full opacity. The drying time is good.

I stamped on it. The stamping design is from the stamping plate "ZJOY Plus-026". I stamped with Colour Alike's stamping polish "Nebulas Blue".

Here is the end result, including topcoat.

P2: #040 Be Cool

P2: #040 Be Cool
Blue jelly with blue, silver and iridescent glitter

I discovered a bunch of polishes from P2 in a box. They're all from the "Lost In Glitter" collection, and I'm going to wear them over the next days. I think the collection is from 2013 but I'm not sure.

The formula is okay. The first coat is a bit tricky because I kept dragging the glitter off. The next coat is way easier though and I used three coats for full opacity. The drying time is good.

I made three small magenta stripes on each nail with a striper polish and then I placed a white flower on it. The flowers are nail stickers.

Here is the end result, including topcoat.

Moyra: #71

Moyra: #71
Emerald green shimmer

Moyra #71 came home with me from a holiday in Hungary a couple of years ago. It's a lovely emerald green shimmer with a really good formula. The polish glides on easily and effortlessly and it covers in two coats. The drying time is average.

The stamp I used to decorate my nails with is from the stamping plate "Born Pretty-Decoration-L003". I stamped with a mint green stamping polish from El Corazón called "Mint". That's a very suitable name, isn't it?

I topped it all with a microglitter topper from China Glaze called "Wildflower Hour". I didn't know it was a topper when I bought it, but I really like it as a topper and have used it as such several times now.

This is the final result including a layer of topcoat.

Walking down Memory Lane with Morgan Taylor: Best Dressed

Walking down Memory Lane with Morgan Taylor: Best Dressed
Cherry red to orange shimmer

I bought my first Morgan Taylor polish in 2013. It was magenta, it was glittery and it was "J'adore My Mani". I bought "Best Dressed" a year and a half later. I have always been fond of Morgan Taylor's polishes but they're ridiculously expensive here. I have bought most of the ones I've got on eBay. Ebay is still cheaper than here - even with postage that is more expensive than the polishes themselves.

But anyway - back to today's polish. I was in the mood for something red and metallic. "Best Dressed" is both - and it's also a duochrome, but I didn't manage to catch the shift on photos today.

I used two easy coats of "Best Dressed". I topped it with Orly's holo glitter topper "Shine On Crazy Diamond". Then I stamped a star by the base of each nail. I found the star on the stamping plate "Born Pretty & KunCat-L004". I stamped with Color Club's "Harp On It".

Here is the final result, including a layer of topcoat.

Cupcake Polish: Leaf Me Alone

Cupcake Polish: Leaf Me Alone
Green strong linear holo

I have loved holographic nail polishes since I first discovered them and I don't think I'll ever get tired of them. "Leaf Me Alone" is a beautiful green linear holographic with lots of pretty rainbows.

The formula is good and easy to work with. I used two coats for my manicure and the drying time was good.

I stamped yellow stripes on it. The stripes are from the stamping plate "Born Pretty-Geometry-L001" and I stamped with El Corazón's stamping polish "Yellow".

Here's the final result, including a layer of topcoat. This photo is taken with flash to show off the pretty rainbows.

Maybelline: 110 Urban Coral & Claire's 47814 Neon Coral

Maybelline: 110 Urban Coral & Claire's 47814 Neon Coral
Coral crème topped with Coral and iridescent glitter

I got this polish in a beauty grab bag. There was a time where I didn't like coral polishes but those times have changed. I've found that the more nail polishes I try on, the more different colours and finishes I like.

The formula of "Urban Coral" is okay but the coverage isn't amazing. I used three coats for my nails today and the drying time is average.

I topped it with one coat of Claire's #47814 Neon Coral, a lovely glittery topper, which I thought would be perfect on top of "Urban Coral".

Then I attached a butterfly sticker onto each nail and made three yellow dots on each nail. I topped it all with topcoat and my nail were done.

Here they are. The polish photograph a tone darker than it really is.

"Urban Coral" is very nice, but the coverage put me off a little bit. I have written that the drying time is average, but a day after, when I removed this, I could actually scrape some of it off - which means it never really dried all the way through.

Essence Dark Romance: Dark Night Starlight

Essence Dark Romance: Dark Night Starlight
Purple with shimmer

Today's polish is another oldie that doesn't deserve to sit any longer in the box of untrieds. I think it's from Autumn 2014! There were just one shimmer in the collection called "Dark Romance", and you already know that I love shimmers.

My first impression of the formula is that it's looking a bit sheer. It did build up in two coats though and the drying time is good.

I stamped on it. The stamping design is from the stamping plate "Nicole Diary-L07". I stamped with two colours: El Corazón's "White" and Colour Alike's "We Can Boogie".

I topped it all with Top Shelf Lacquer's holo microglitter topper "It's Not What You Drink".

Here is the final result under a lamp:

OPI: ElePhantastic Pink

OPI: ElePhantastic Pink
Pink crème

"ElePhantastic Pink" is from the India Collection from Spring 2008. It came out long before I started my nail polish blogging hobby so I haven't had it sitting in a box for that many years. I got it recently in a beauty grab bag.

The formula is a bit thin and coverage is not amazing. I used three coats for my nails today and the drying time was average. I topped it with a holo topper from Painted Polish called "Diamond Dust". Then I made dots in the corner of my nails with white and purple.

I topped it all with topcoat and here's the end result. The photo is taken in daylight, no sun.

Emily de Molly: LE1

Emily de Molly: LE1
Purple shimmer with pink/copper microglitter

I don't know exactly how old today's polish is, but it's old. It has been sitting in a box of untried, almost forgotten. Today is the day where it gets its chance to shine.

The formula is good and I used two easy coats for my nails today. The drying time was good.

I decided to keep it simple by adding a bit of glitter. I used Jordana's "Copper Blaze" and I dapped it on with an eyeshadow applicator.

This is how I wore it, including a layer of topcoat.

Nail Hoot: Sweatin' To The Oldies

Nail Hoot: Sweatin' To The Oldies
Pink linear holo

"Sweatin' To The Oldies" is from PPU. I don't know when this was originally released, but I bought it in the re-run in July 2020.

Let me tell you right away that this polish is absolutely gorgeous! The formula is great too and it glides on like butter. I used two easy coats for full opacity. The drying time is really good.

I attached floral nail stickers on each nail. Then I topped it all with topcoat and then my nails were done.

Here they are, photographed with flash.
