Catrice: C03 Wrapped In Happiness

C03 “Wrapped In Happiness” is another one third of Catrice’s 2022 Holiday collection “Sparks Of Joy”. I’ll link to the two others in the collection as I post them here on the blog.

The formula of “Wrapped In Happiness” is sheer. I used two coats and the drying time is good. I think I should have used three coats to get full coverage.

I stamped on it. The motif is from Moyou London’s stamping plate “Pro Collection-14”. I stamped with “Vinous” from El Corazòn.

This is “Wrapped In Happiness” alone; two coats and no topcoat.  The shimmer is quite amazing.

Finish: Shimmer
Overall impression: Sheer formula with beautiful shimmer. The colour isn’t quite me, it’s a bit too Autumn-y.

OPI: Charmed, I’m Sure
Fuchsia purple shimmer

“Charmed, I’m Sure” is from OPI’s holiday 2022 collection “Jewel Be Bold”.

The colour of “Charmed, I’m Sure” is gorgeous but the formula is so tricky. It’s patchy and not easy to apply. It’s sheer as well. Not a winner formula-wise. I used three coats for my nails. The drying time is average.

I applied a bit of glitter by the base of my nails. The glitter is CND Creative Play’s “Look No Hands”.

It’s a shame that the formula is both tricky and sheer – and that the drying time is “only” average. The colour is super gorgeous, but… I’m not sure I have patience for this in future.
