I'm a Christmas Winner!

Merry Christmas everybody! 

Today is the day we celebrate Christmas here. I'm having my family over and we'll be eating Christmas dinner together and after that there'll be handed out presents. Oh how I love presents!! 

And speaking of presents: I was so lucky to win Maria's giveaway recently, and guess what! The prize arrived yesterday! It definitely felt like an extra Christmas present right there ^_^

"What was it?", you might ask yourselves. I won a €50 voucher for DesigGlassware by Mont Bleu. Amazing, right? They sell nail files, nail clippers and pretty jewelry with Swarovski crystals. It took a long time for me to pick the prize! 

Here's what I picked:

A set of three glass nail files; small, medium and large. I can't wait to try them.

 A nail clipper with swarowski crystals. And yes, I do clip my nails before I file them.

A Ring  called "Aurora Boreale", that changes colours like crazy. It's beautiful!

I am a winner!

I participated in a giveaway on Ann-Sofie's blog Colour it recently, and I was so lucky to actually win! I was thrilled, and even more thrilled when the package showed up. It was a mix of polishes and beauty products, and I'm always curious to try out something new. 

Let me show you what I won.

Glitters are always welcome in my stash. I already own Beetle Green and I love it! The deep red from Uslu Airlines is called probably called XMS, I'm not quite sure. It's a new brand to me :)

There was also an eyeliner in the package, but I forgot to photograph it! Doh @ self!

Happy new year 2014 - and first giveaway of the year

Happy new year, sweet girls! 

It's like a new beginning when a new year starts. The beginning of a new year is also an opportunity to look back at the year that just passed. 

I have been a part of the nail blogging community for over two years now, and it has given me so many good memories. I've made new friends, both online friends and real life friends, and all of them mean a lot to me. Thanks girls, you know who you are. 

I've been on two vacations in 2013, first to London and then to New York. Both were great experiences! I had so much fun on both, and I obviously also brought home heaps of pretty polishes too! :)

2014 is also going to offer vacations, which I'm already looking forward to.

Workwise I've been way too busy. It can be difficult to slow down when you've got a job you love. I have promised myself to try and be better at taking breaks once in a while.

I would love if 2014 brought me a puppy, but I'm not quite sure that's going to happen.

Anyway! I hope you girls had a great year, and that 2014 will be a fantastic year for you all.

Two year blogiversary!

Hi girls, 

Today it's exactly two years since I first wrote on this blog. What could have been a quick flirt with blogging, just to try it out, ended up with a dedication to a hobby and a love for nail polish that I had never even dreamt about. 

I dare to say that it wouldn't have gone this far if it hadn't been for you girls! Blogging is fun, but it's the interaction with you that makes it all worth while.

Giveaway Alert!

Hi girls!

I've been wanting to do this giveaway for quite a while now. I wanted to make it my 500 followers giveaway, but then Google discarded the Google reader, which means that the new followers don't follow via Google Friend Connect. I don't know why though, because I still follow via the blogs I read via GFC and haven't noticed any difference at all. But anyway - people have now started following via Bloglovin', which is perfectly fine for me too. The problem is that I lost count, and I don't want to wait any longer.

I've reached an amazing milestone of 400 fantastic followers! I never thought that this many people would be interested in my little nail corner of the web. I am ever so grateful for each and every one of you. You seriously rock!! ♥
