Colors by Llarowe ~ Courage, Brains, Heart

Colors by Llarowe ~ Courage, Brains, Heart
Bright magenta strong linear holo

Today’s post isn’t going to be long and full of photos. Originally I wasn’t going to blog about my manicure today because I’ve already shown you Courage, Brains, Heart twice on this blog. Check this link out to see the original post if you missed it. But when I saw the final result I thought it was too pretty not to post about – that’s also what it’s like to be a nail polish blogger!

So please check out my mani. Two coats of Courage, Brains, Heart, and then a bit of Finger Paints’ “Laugh my Art off” brushed on the tips. It’s all sealed up with a layer of topcoat and the photo is taken with flash.

*happy sigh* I just love this!

Here are the two polishes I used:

I hope you understand why I thought that this was too pretty not to blog about :D

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Strong linear holo
Overall impression: Amazing polish, I love everything about it!
Buy again: I definitely would!

OPI ~ Spare me a French Quarter

OPI ~ Spare me a French Quarter
Dark raspberry crème

Spare me a French Quarter is from OPI’s spring 2016 New Orleans collection just like She’s a Bad Muffuletta and I Manicure forBeads that I already showed you.

The formula is great and the polish is so easy to work with. This is the third OPI crème in a row that I am actually impressed with! I’m almost speechless! I used two fast drying coats for my mani.

Here’s two coats in the sun:

Sun means holo, right? I applied a layer of LynBDesigns holo/flakie topcoat “Galactic Central Point”. It does grey the base colour some, but it doesn’t really show that much in the sun, take a look:

Then I painted two blue glitter stripes on it with Finger Paints’ “Laugh my Art off”. I topped the whole thing with a layer of topcoat and this is my final mani:

I’m not the biggest fan of crème polishes but I must admit that I am happy with the three new ones I bought!

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Crème
Overall impression: I like both the colour and the quality of this
Buy again: Yes

El Corazon Kaleidoscope ~ Aries

El Corazon Kaleidoscope ~ Aries
Blackened base packed with purple shimmer

Aries is from El Corazon’s Kaleidoscope Night Dreams collection, just like Pisces and Sagittarius that I showed you before. There are of 12 polishes in the collection – one for each zodiac sign. I chose four of them, and I’m going to show you number three of them today, and the last tomorrow. Just stay tuned for that :)

The formula is good and easy to work with. The coverage is just as good as Sagittarius, and it covered easily in two coats. Drying time was good, no issues there.

Here’s two coats and no topcoat:

I waited until it was fully dry and then used some of the chevron striping tape that I really like because it’s so thin. It really works on nails that aren’t particularly big or long. I used Finger Paints’ “Laugh my Art off” as the other polish. It’s a blue microglitter. I have had it for a long time, and I think it’s nice to use some of the oldies but goodies once in a while.

This is my final mani, including a layer of topcoat:

Oh yeah, I dig this!

Here are the two polishes I used:

Aries is my own sign and I’m happy that I actually like this polish!
