Catrice ~ London Town at Sundown

Catrice ~ London Town at Sundown
Deep red shimmer

I asked my boyfriend what colour he thought I should wear today. He went for red, and I gave him three different reds to choose between – he quickly decided that London Town at Sundown was the nicest of the three. I always knew that he has great taste (also in nail polishes) haha!

The formula is no less than fantastic and this is a true one coater. I did apply a second coat because that’s how I roll, but it honestly wasn’t necessary. The drying time was very good.

Take a look at how pretty two coats look:

Amazing polish, I love it!

My boyfriend suggested stamping and that’s exactly what I did. But first I applied a layer of Ellagee’s Rainbow Syrup, which is a fantastic holo topcoat. Then I used the water decal stamping motif from Bundle Monster’s BM-XL210 and I stamped with China Glaze’s Chrome is Where the Heart is.

Here’s the final mani including a layer of topcoat.

One final shot:

I must admit that I regretted the stamping. That water marble stamping motif is way too big for my nails, it covers up too much of the original base colour. I knew that, I just forgot it. Perhaps I should just get rid of that plate, grrr.

Number of coats: 2 – but this is a one coater
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Shimmer
Overall impression: Beautiful colour, great quality polish
Buy again: Yes, I love it!

  1. I love that red Catrice - I do kind of like the stamping, but I agree, it is a big pattern...

    1. It's way too big for my small nails. I love the motif though, so it's a shame :)

    1. Thank you! And no, it's quite hard to see that the stamp is originally a water marble design :D It works way better on bigger and longer nails than mine :)

It's funny that they often chose reds :D For my toes he usually picks a green polish :)

  4. That is a really nice red polish! Well it's nice with the nail art too, but I do prefer it on it's own.
