Nina Ultra Pro: Electric SlideNeon green jelly with iridescent glitter
Yesterday I showed you a cool polish from Nina Ultra Pro. Today and tomorrow I’m going to show you a couple of its sisters that also have been sitting in the infamous box of untrieds.
“Electric Slide” is was too sheer to work on its own so I layered it over a neon green polish from Morgan Taylor called “Limonade In The Shade”. I used two coats for my base – even though “Limonade In The Shade” looks way better if you use three coats. I thought “Electric Slide” would cover just a little bit – but it didn’t!
Anyway – I placed little sunflower stickers on it and topped the whole thing with topcoat.
This is the end design.

Here it is without the sunflowers.

And here’s Morgan Taylor’s “Limonade In The Shade”, two coats.

These are the things I used today.

Hm. This definitely doesn’t wow me. It only does what any other iridescent glitter topper does. I think I’ll move it on to a different home.
Number of coats: 1 over a coloured base
Drying time: Slow
Finish: Iridescent glitter
Overall impression: Sheer formula, not amazing
Buy again: No
It looks really nice and love the mani :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you, I appreciate it :)
DeleteThis is not "my" kind of polish at all, I guess I'm getting old for some things like fluorescent polishes... ;-) But, I do like the final manicure with sunflowers :-)
ReplyDeleteHaha yes well, I'm glad you like the end result at least. I love flourescent polishes - and I'm not quite sure that I'll accept getting too old for them :D
