Golden Rose Matte ~ 103 and 104
Denim blue and navy blue, both with shimmer and a silky finish
Orly ~ Spazmatic
Clear base with blue glitters
Let me introduce to to my Golden Rose Blues! I’ve used two Golden Rose polishes for this mani, both received in a swap with my sweet friend Aylin from Posh Nail Art.
I started out with two coats of #103, which is such a pretty denim blue colour. It was practically opaque in one coat, but I applied two, just to be sure it would show itself from its prettiest side :) And man, is this pretty – take a look:
And from another angle:
I have nothing negative to say about Golden Rose’s Matte polishes. They apply easily, they cover well, drying time is good, and they’re all very pretty.
I taped three of my nails randomly and applied a coat of Golden Rose #104, the navy blue sister to #103. On the two other nails I dabbed on a layer of Orly’s Spazmatic, from their Flash Glam FX Collection from summer 2012. And then I sealed it up with a layer of Poshé top coat, and my Golden Rose Blues was done:
I must admit that I’m not 100% thrilled over Orly’s Spazmatic. The glitter is a bit too sparse, and I found it a little bit difficult to get it to spread evenly out on my nail. Perhaps I just had a bad glitter-day, who knows :D
Here's the pretty bottles:
That’s it! I’m quite pleased with the result myself, but please let me know in the comments below what you think of it. Have you got any of Orly’s glitters from the Flash Glam FX Collection? If yes, are you pleased with them?
