OPI ~ Pineapples Have Peelings Too

OPI ~ Pineapples Have Peelings Too
Gold frost with various colours of glitter

I know that several people consider “Pineapples Have Peelings Too” as the ugliest polish ever made. I’m not sure I agree that it’s the ugliest, but granted: It is ugly! A friend gave it to me for my birthday as a “teasing gift” – well thanks a lot! :D

“Pineapples Have Peelings Too” is from the Hawaii collection from Spring 2015.

I decided to at least try it on! I used two coats for full opacity. I didn’t fish for the glitter but just applied whatever came up with the brush. The drying time is pretty good.

This is two coats and a layer of “Gel Effect Top Coat” from Models Own.

I must admit that it’s not quite as ugly on the nails as it is in the bottle, but I don’t think I’d ever go as far as to call it pretty :D (My BF thinks it looks like Chicken gravy).

I didn’t really wear this so these are the pictures you’ll get for today.

What’s the least pretty nail polish you’ve seen? :D

Glisten & Glow ~ Jukebox & Jitterbug

Glisten & Glow ~ Jukebox & Jitterbug
Mint green creme

Today I’m wearing a mint green pastel! Whoa, right? Not really my colour but nice nonetheless. I got it in a mystery grab bag, and I am happy with it even though I probably wouldn’t have bought it if I had known it was a pastel.

The formula is really nice though and I used two easy coats for full opacity. The drying time is really good too.

The colour made me want to add some kind of floral element but I changed my mind as I flipped through my stamping plates. I went for a big spiral instead, it’s from Moyou London’s stamping plate “Illusion Collection-02”. I stamped with El Corazón’s white stamping polish and topped it with El Corazón’s holo flakie topper 421h/25.

This is how it all turned out. The photo is taken in the sun:

It’s quite nice, isn’t it?

This is what two coats of “Jukebox & Jitterbug” looks like. There’s no topcoat involved just yet.

Here’s the stuff I used.

“Jukebox & Jitterbug” is a keeper for me, even though it’s not really my colour :D

W7 ~ It’s Pink

W7 ~ It’s Pink
Neon pink crème

Here’s a cheap neon pink polish from W7. The quality is amazingly good and the colour is “in yer face”, just the way I like it.

I used two easy and really fast drying coat for my manicure.

I applied a layer of holo topcoat over the pink. I used “Prysmatic Holo Liquid” from Hot4You.

The stamp is from the stamping plate “Zjoy-Plus005” and I stamped with an un-named stamping polish from KADS.

Here’s my manicure photographed with flash.

This is the same thing in daylight, no direct sun.

W7 ~ It’s Pink

Here’s “It’s Pink” on its own; two coats and no topcoat or holo topper yet. My camera can’t even catch how much neon it is!
