Polished for Days ~ Aequorea

Polished for Days ~ Aequorea
Grey base with pink/yellow/green shifting iridescent flakes and holographic flakes

"Aequorea" is part of "For The Love Of Polish"-box for November 2019.

The formula of "Aequorea" is good and easy to work with. I used two easy and fast drying coats for full opacity.

The stamp I used is from the stamping plate "Mother Nature Collection-13" from Moyou London. I stamped with a stamping polish from Colour Alike called "Sweet Dreams".

Here's the final result.

Polished for Days ~ Aequorea

It took me a while to decide which colour I should stamp with and I am quite happy with the colour combination.

Polished for Days ~ Aequorea

This is "Aequorea" alone; two coats and a layer of topcoat.

These are the things I used today.

I am quite surprised over how much I like this polish because I usually prefer my colours bolder. But the shimmer and the flakes makes "Aequorea" quite amazing.

All these three polishes were limited edition and is no longer available.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Flakies
Overall impression: The flakies make this polish spectacular.

L'Oreal ~ 222 Pink Shells

L'Oreal ~ 222 Pink Shells
Hot pink with shimmer

The formula of "Pink Shells" is a bit thin but the coverage is really good. I used two coats for full opacity. The drying time is really good.

The stamp is from the stamping plate "BeautyBigBang XL-053". I stamped with a white and a blue stamping polish.

I topped it all with Orly's holo glitter topper "Shine On Crazy Diamond".

Here's the end result.

Color Club ~ Do Not Disturb

Color Club ~ Do Not Disturb
Blue jelly with green shimmer, and blue and holo glitter

I wasn't quite sure if "Do Not Disturb" was a topper or not, but I decided to see if it works on its own - and it turns out that it does.

I used two coats for my nails. The drying time is good.

Here it is; two coats and a layer of topcoat.

I quite like the glitter here.

I honestly didn't know what to do with this polish so I ended up doing nothing.

I think this is a nice glitter but I'm not crazy about it being a jelly. I think that I'll be using it as an effect polish next time to see if it's going to wow me more.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Jelly with shimmer and glitter
Overall impression: Really nice shimmer and glitter. Not a fan of the jelly formula

Smitten Polish ~ Proto 11

Smitten Polish ~ Proto 11
Grass green with holo microglitter

Today's polish is a lovely green microglitter. The formula seems a bit thin but the coverage is still good - I used two coats for full opacity. The drying time is really good. The polish dries flat.

I usually make some kind of floral nail art on greens like one. I decided to try and go for something else today: Pandas! The pandas are water decals and they were so easy to work with.

This is all topped with a layer of topcoat.

Sally Hansen ~ Naughty List

Sally Hansen ~ Naughty List
Berry coloured crème

The formula of this polish is slightly thick and very well covering. I used two coats for my nails today and the drying time was really good.

I added a really nice blue shimmer on top, I used PS' "AquaMarine" from the Mermaid Magic collection.

I double stamped on top of it all. I used two different designs from the plate "L079" for that, and I stamped with El Corazón's Orchid and Colors by Llarowe's Turq'd.

Here's the final manicure including a layer of topcoat.

I really like this colour combination.

Sally Hansen ~ Naughty List

This is two coats of "Naughy List" alone, no topcoat yet.

Here's "Naughty List" with a layer of "AquaMarine" on top. Isn't that just a great shimmer?!

Here's all the stuff I used today.

I'm not usually a big fan of crèmes but with a shimmer or glitter on top, they can be really cool! I like the colour of "Naughty List".
