Sally Hansen Gem Crush ~ Bejeweled

Sally Hansen Gem Crush ~ Bejeweled
Amathyst coloured glitter with larger bits of pale pink glitter

Sally Hansen has stepped up the ladder and joined the better quality brands of nail polish, if you ask me. Yes, they still make all the “boring” stuff, but occasionally they come out with a series that is really worth a mention. “Gem Crush” is such a series of polishes.

Here’s the amethyst/pale purple version of it, it’s called “Bejewelled” and it’s a clear base, packed with glitter, with some extra pink glitter added.

The formula is a bit on the thick side, and the brush is the widest one I’ve ever seen. I was almost able to paint my entire little finger nail with one stroke!

Here it is, two coats – no top coat yet.

It’s just a bit too pale to be my kind of colour, so I decided to stamp on it.

I chose an all nail design from Bundlemonster - plate 202, and used a no name black stamping polish.

I almost like it. The purple was too subtle on its own, and it’s cooler with black.

  3. Ooh I like it, and I love it with the stamping. I don't think I've tried any SH polishes apart from the nail care base and top coats. This looks really pretty though.
