OPI ~ Rollin’ in Cashmere & A Roll in the Hague

OPI ~ Rollin’ in Cashmere & A Roll in the Hague
-in a golden/orange watermarble

There was an OPI sale in the supermarket here recently. OPI polishes are usually quite expensive here so I buy most of mine online. But these ones were really cheap – US$3.50 each! So I bought the only two that spoke to me.

Rollin’ in cashmere is golden, and A Roll in the Hague is orange. I thought they would look really cool together!

I applied two layers of Rollin’ in Cashmere as my base and then I started water marbling. I added a white: China Glaze’s White on White, which is bought for the purpose. When I was done I added a layer of Northern Lights by Out the Door. It’s a really great holo glitter topper which I use a lot.

Here’s my final mani taken with flash:

I love the randomness of the pattern!

This last picture is taken in the lightbox.

Here are the four polishes I used for my marble.

I’m so thrilled that I cracked the code to water marbling because I really like the result. Gold isn’t my colour, but it works with other colours, like this dark orange.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Shimmer
Overall impression: I bought these two OPI’s mostly for nail art. I’m glad to se it work!
Buy again: Yes, but only if they’re on special :D

  4. Beatiful water marble :) Regular price of OPI is ridiculous. I found one store in the Netherlands where they sell them for a good price (4-5 euro), but the choice is limited.
