Orly ~ Candy
Cane Lane
Bright shiny
candy-apple red crème
This polish is from Orly’s “‘Tis The Season” 2010 holiday collection. I’ve only bought it
recently, so it’s still available and easily accessible.
It’s a beautiful red crème.
The formula is great – it is Orly
after all – and it was practically opaque after just one coat. I applied
another one to see if it would ad more depth to it, but honestly it didn’t. So
if you’re careful with the application, it could quite easily be a one coater.
Drying time between the coats is alright though, so personally I think I’ll
stick with two coats in future manis too. :)
Here it is – no top coat.
Look at that shine, isn’t it just amazing?! The picture is taken in the sun and
is pretty colour accurate. I love reds like this!

I knew I wouldn’t leave it
like that. I wanted to stamp on it. I picked an all nail design on a plate
called H22 and stamped with a black no name stamping polish. I like this
stamping plate. The all nail designs are more than big enough to cover the
entire thumb nail.
Here’s what it looks like
with one coat of Orly’s
Polishield 3-in-1 top coat. But I won’t be using this top coat for stamped
nails again – it pulls on the design and even though I don’t really notice it
in real life, it annoys me.
