Depend is a Swedish brand that’s easily accessible in Denmark. That’s one reason I got so happy to see them came up with a holographic series of polishes! Finally some nice holo stuff within reach.

The road to the holo was long and narrow, since nailpolish isn’t a huge thing in Denmark. When I went to the shops to buy this new pretty polish, the sales assistants had no clue what I was talking about. I googled a pic for one of them on my smart phone, and she said: “But isn’t that just a glitter?” O_o

Anyway – to make a very long story nice and short, I talked one of the shop assistants into ordering the polishes for me, and it took about 2 weeks before they finally arrived.

And the sun decided to cooperate that very same day, so let me introduce to you: Depend Denim Blue holographic:


I took a million pictures to make sure I got some nice ones.


It’s much prettier in real life, like holos almost always are.


This is actually layered over another polish. I layered one coat of the holo over L A Girl’s “Matte Indigo”. Here’s what that looks like in the sun – it’s two coats.

    I haven't bought any of the Depends (yet), but it's nice that they have names in this collection, not just numbers :)

      The holos are the first Depend polishes I ever bought, and I bought them mostly because they were available. But I quite like them! :) I agree with the thing about the name vs. only numbers. I like names!!

    Depend holos are pretty from what I saw so far, you're lucky to have this brand there! :) Why didn't you wear it alone? Was it so sheer, or?

      I've read that it takes three coats if worn on its own, and it's only in 5ml bottles, so I thought I'd give it some underwear instead :)
