Redish purple packed with shimmer

Today I want to show you a polish that my boyfriend slipped under the Christmas tree for me: Purple Purpose from Alessandro. It’s my very first Alessandro, and it almost took my breath away, because DAMN it’s beautiful!

The formula was no less than great and the polish covered really well. Two coats is what it took and the drying time was really good.

I gazed at my nails. Oh man…. take a look at how pretty this polish is:

I absolutely adore this!

You’d think that I could keep it like this when I love it so much, right? Wrong! It doesn’t quite work like that with me. Less is not always more ;)

So I grabbed a couple of holos from Rival de Loop: Lost in Space, which is silver, and Dreamland, which is pink. I grabbed a kitchen sponge and dapped first silver and then pink onto my nails. Then I sealed it up with a layer of “holo top coat” from P2. It’s a clear base with holo glitter in it.

I must say that I’m impressed by this Alessandro polish. I’ll remember to check out the polish rack next time we’re in Germany! The boy done good ;)
