China Glaze ~ I’d Melt for
You
Silver Chrome
I’d Melt for You is from the Twinkle Collection from Christmas 2014. I’d
never thought I’d wear polishes like this silver chrome, but I must admit that
it’s amazing!
The formula is good, perhaps a bit thick, but I quite like that. I had
no problems with application whatsoever and the polish dries really fast. I
used OPI’s Nail Envy as my basecoat and didn’t experience any problems with
dragging or bald spots. So far, so good. I used two coats for this mani, although
I think one might have been enough, but - since this polish reveals all little
irregularities on your nails, you might want to use two coats like me, to sort
of even things out a little bit.
I’d Melt for You is super shiny, so shiny it made my camera freak out a
little bit. Here’s the best I could do:
This is a flash picture. Still freaking the camera out, haha!
I wore this for half a day before I added more. I went hunting for old,
forgotten polishes in the drawers, and ended up with three old Essence
polishes: Hard to Resist, a dark blue shimmer, Glamorous Life, a cherry red
shimmer and Space Queen, iridescent glitter in a clear base. I dry brushed the
polishes on: First the blue and then the cherry red. When that was dry I
applied a layer of the iridescent glitter.
Here’s my final mani:
I quite like this!
And the mandatory flash picture – that makes the camera freak out one
last time, haha!
Here are the pretty polishes lined up:
I considered stamping over this, but decided against
it. I liked it as it was after all. Do you like this?

Overall impression: I am quite impressed by this polish, it’s so easy to work with. Perhaps it’s equivalent to OPI’s Push and Shove. I can’t compare, since I don’t own Push and Shove.
