Color Club ~ Don’t Kale my Vibe

Color Club ~ Don’t Kale my Vibe
Green to red duochromatic shimmer

I’ve refound my love for Color Club recently. My polish hobby started out with Color Club, but there’s been a little while where their collections haven’t been speaking to me. They sure changed that this year when they made their third series of Halo Hues and the Oil Slick collection. Don’t Kale my Vibe is from the Oil Slick collection. What I like about them is that they easily work without any sort of underwear. That’s cool.

So: Two coats is what it takes. Drying time is really good and the polish is easy to work with. The duochromatic effect isn’t spectacular but the colour makes up for that in my opinion.

Two coats, no topcoat:

I tried to capture the colour shift here:

I added holo. A girl can never have too much holo, right? A layer of Dance legend’s Top Prismatic, a holo topcoat. It greys the base colour but I love the holo effect it gives.

Here’s a flash picture:

This is what it looks like in low lights. The colour is still nice.

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Shimmer and duochrome
Overall impression: Really nice colour, the shift isn’t prominent
Buy again: Yes

  1. I'm not quite comfortable wearing this type of green myself, but it sure looks nice on you - and the holo is just perfect on it!
