It’s time for another Color Club polish, yay! This is also an oldie, but goodie: Art of Seduction is from the Glitter Vixen collection from Autumn 2009. And no, it hasn’t been sitting in my box of untrieds since then! :D I bought it recently so it didn’t actually make it to the box at all! 

The formula is like most glitter polishes are: It can be a bit tricky to get close to the cuticles without actually getting glitter on the cuticles. I think I managed okay though. Drying time is good. The polish dries up a bit gritty, and it’s very topcoat- thirsty. I applied one thick coat of Models Own’s HyperGel gel effect topcoat. You need two coats if you want a smooth, shiny surface.

I was eager to try out a new stamping plate I bought: BundleMonster’s BM-XL210. It’s a stamping plate with water marble motifs.

I stamped with a black stamping polish and applied another layer of gel effect topcoat. That second coat made everything super smooth and shiny, take a look at my final mani:

I love the red glitter and cannot understand how I can have possibly kept missing it. It is right up my alley! I am a bit disappointed in the stamping plate. I used the absolute centre of the motif that is the only part of it that makes sense on my nails. I was not impressed by the pattern on my pinkie and my pointer to be honest. I might have to let that plate go at some point. I just need to try out a few of the other motifs first. There’s one with a row of hearts that look really promising, but we will see :)
