Colour Alike ~ 517

Colour Alike ~ 517
Spring green scattered holo

I’ve become a fan of Colour Alike’s polishes. I find they’re good quality, easy to work with, and it’s a bonus that they aren’t hugely expensive.

517 is a lovely green, easy to work with like the rest of them. No need for special aqua base coats, any ol’ basecoat will do. Two coats is what it takes and the drying time is good.

I had a ray of sunlight! Here’s what two coats and no topcoat looks like in the sun.

I like that!
I decided to add more colours. I used “Silver Holo” from Urban Outfitters, which is exactly what the name suggests: Silver holo, and #14 from Golden Rose’s Galaxy collection, which is a lovely dark purple with glitter. I painted stripes with the two polishes, starting from the tip of my nails and upwards. A layer of topcoat completed the look:

The Golden Rose has gotten thick and gooey with age, and definitely needs some thinner. I managed this time without though.

Here are the three stepsisters:

It’s not a secret that I love green and purple together. I think these colours are really cool.
