Essence Crazy Good Times ~ Confetteria

Essence Crazy Good Times ~ Confetteria
Dark blue jelly base with small blue, green and bronze glitters and bigger blue sequins

This polish looks absolutely amazing in the bottle. It’s packed with various colours of small glitters, and has these bigger blue sequins that just make this look fantastic.

The formula was quite thick and lumpy, which made the application quite difficult. I ended up having quite a lot of polish on my cuticles and around my nails. Fortunately it wasn’t that hard to clean it up again.

It was properly opaque in two coats, although the drying time between the coats was on the slow side – probably because the polish is so thick that it’s impossible to apply thin coats.

Here’s how the mani looks with a generous layer of top coat to smooth out the surface somewhat:

It’s a very pretty polish, I really like it. It has such a depth to it! To look at it is like staring into a deep, deep blue and then see glitter. On the negative side is the lumpiness, which I found to be impossible to smooth out. My nails felt like what I guess the surface of the moon must feel like!

Opacity: 8/10
Colour, prettiness: 7/10
Durability: 7/10
Value for money: 8/10
Overall: 7.5/10
Buy again: No

    1. Thanks, I think so too. I have seen that some fellow bloggers are using "gelous" to smoothen out with. It's not something I'm familiar with, but I might try and find it and see if it's any good.

    1. Yeah, I know, but I probably won't be using it very often because of the application. We'll see. Perhaps it needs to find a better home. :)

  3. That sucks about the application but it's a gorgeous shade! It kind of reminds me of twilight!

    1. Oh yes, it does too! I hadn't thought of that.
I especially enjoyed the depth of the polish.

  4. Wow! That is a stunner! You're right, the illusion of depth in incredible.

I did some shopping today! I think you'll be very happy. =) As far as treats and what you can't get there, I called in a little help from and old highschool friend who now lives in Odense. She's given me a great list of Canadian treats that aren't available in Denmark.

    1. Haha! :D It reminds me of KleanColor's blue eyed girl. KleanColor's is more beautiful, but it takes even longer to dry. ;D

    1. I'm not crazy about them, but I like this one because it actually covers greatly. :)
