SMYTC challenge Day 1: Red and Green

I've joined another challenge - one from a cool group I'm in on Facebook. It's called "Show me your top coats", and this is a Christmas challenge that runs every second day from now and until Christmas. 

It looks like this: 

So today it's time for red and green nails, which means I'll be using one of my snow man polishes, hurray! 

I started out with two polishes from Sinful Colors: the green "San Fransisco" and the red "Gogo Girl". None of them are going to end up as favourites, but they'll do for today. 

I haven't applied top coat yet: 

No Christmas without glitter! I used a Snowman polish with no name. It's a clear base with green and red glitter, which is perfect for this mani. 

I used a tiny piece of sponge to get the glitter onto the nails. I applied a line diagonally on each nail, and topped it all off with a layer of Poshé top coat:

This is very Christmassy, and I like it! On the pics I like the green base colour best, but in real life it was the red base colour that was my favourite. Funny that, eh?
