SMYTC Challenge Day 3: Snow Flakes

I love snowflake-manis. They’re usually gorgeous, so I was happy that there was a snowflake mani included in this challenge!

I started out with two coats of Sinful Colors’ Neptune. It’s a polish I thought I’d use once and then put in my swap stash, but no. It’s twice as pretty on the nails as it is in the bottle. It’s easy to work with, and it took two easy coats to reach desired opacity! So that’s definitely a polish that’ll stay in my stash.

Here’s a pic of what two coats look like:

Then I used an eye shadow applicator to sponge on random dollops of Depend’s “310”. That’s a baby blue, very opaque polish with lots of silver shimmer in it. I didn’t use much, just a little bit to add a bit of texture to my background:

After that I used the same eye shadow applicator and did the same thing with H&M’s white shimmery polish “Snow White”. I quite like the way my background ended up looking :

Then - I stamped my snow flakes on. I used a white no name stamping polish, and an XL stamping plate called “K – Holiday designs” and a plate from Bundlemonster, BM-323.

And then I sealed it all up with a layer of Poshé top coat, and I was done!
