Joss ~ Flamingo Dancer

Joss ~ Flamingo Dancer
Pink linear holo

Here’s another holographic polish from Joss. Joss is an Australian brand, which makes really impressive holos.

I used my regular base coat as underwear for this polish. I applied two very easy coats to achieve the desired opacity. Drying time is pretty average, not slow and not the fastest either. Average is okay in my book :)

The sun was out – hurray for holos in the sun. Look how pretty Flamingo Dancer is in the sun:

It’s like I have a gazillion little gems on my nails!

Flamingo Dancer has a blue tone to it that makes this polish really special. And it’s even prettier in real life than it is on the picture.

I don’t have topcoat on in these pictures, but only because I am going to do a bit of nail art on it in a minute.

Here’s an indoor pic. The holo effect is still visible, but it also shows that the polish has an almost foil-ish finish when it’s out of the sun. It’s definitely still wearable for me, which is a must when we’re talking about which polishes to keep and which to find new homes for. This one is a keeper!

I stamped on it. I chose a simple crisscross design from the plate Apipila P.6 and I stamped with a no name black stamping polish. I actually tried to stamp with a “regular” purple polish first, but this plate isn’t “cut” deep enough, so you have to work faster than fast to make this work.

I like!

I’m wearing a layer of Poshé top coat over the stamped design, and it doesn’t dull the holo at all. It’s perfect!!
