Girly Bits ~ Bachelor’s Button

Girly Bits ~ Bachelor’s Button
Cornflower blue linear holo

Cornflower blue isn’t normally a colour I’d go for, but once in a while it’s nice to push the envelope and maybe expand the comfort zone.

The formula was good, and it took two coats to achieve desired opacity. The drying time is also good, which is a big plus. I just used my regular basecoat and didn’t experience any problems with either dragging or bald spots. Just easy application and a really nice looking polish.

Take a look at how two coats and no top coat look like in the sunshine:

‘Tis pretty, no? The holo effect is subtle, but in my opinion it suits the delicate blue.

I wanted to add a holo more, so I stamped on it. I used my XL plate “O” and stamped with Color Club’s “Beyond” which is a strong linear black holo. Here’s the final result:

I’m pleased with how well Beyond stamps. I haven’t used it as a regular polish yet, but I’m impressed with the holo effect, so I might soon!

And here’s a photo almost out of the sunlight so it’s easier for you to see the heart motif :)

I’ve decided that I like Bachelor’s Button enough for me to actually keep it, and also to add the colour to my comfort zone because I must admit that I really like it.

How about you girls – is this a polish you’d choose?

I bought my Bachelor’s Button at Foxy Fingertips. It’s a Danish website, but they do ship to other European countries. Say hi from me, if you order from their store please :)

  1. I had it on my wish list, but just removed it, I see now the dusty qualities in this one, that I really do not like, but it looks darn good on you!!
