Color Club ~ Ms. Hautie

Ms. Hautie is from the Untamed Luxury collection from Autumn 2010 and I got this from a very dear friend of mine.

Application was easy and the drying time is good. There is some pink shimmer in this polish, but that doesn’t show on the nails at all. I don’t know what’s wrong with the formula, but there’s something that doesn’t really work. The polish dries up a little bit bumpy and I don’t know what causes the bumpiness, but this is what Ms. Hautie looks like with a layer of topcoat and in ordinary daylights.

As you can see there are still bumps despite the thick layer of topcoat.

I covered some of it up :D I applied a line of purple glitter down the middle of each nail. I used a glitter from Claire’s. I didn’t use tape because I didn’t necessarily want it to be perfect.

That helped a little bit but I am still not happy. I made a pink line down the middle and here’s my final mani:

I shall not lie to you: I don’t think Ms. Hautie really works. The glitters are too few, the pink shimmer doesn’t show and I am not crazy about that unmotivated lumpiness.
