Glittering Elements ~ Magical, Mystical Love AND CrowsToes ~ Bad Catholic

Glittering Elements ~ Magical, Mystical Love
CrowsToes ~ Bad Catholic

Today I’m going to show you a couple of special polishes.

The first one is from Glittering Elements and it’s called Magical, Mystical Love. It’s deep purple and holographic. The special thing about that polish is that it’s a Facebook Group custom. It was only for sale for members of that particular group, so I snagged it!

Formula seemed thin on the first coat but the second coat didn’t leave any thin spots or irregularities at all. Drying time is good.

Here’s two coats and no topcoat taken with flash:

Is that a lovely purple or what?

I am really glad that I had the chance to buy this lovely polish.
I paired it up with another special polish: Bad Catholic from CrowsToes. Bad Catholic is special because it was a part of “A box, Indied” from March 2014. It was only sold in that particular box and is no longer for sale. I was so lucky to win it, yay!

Anyway, Bad Catholic is a clear base packed with purple, green and gold glitters and hexes. I really tried to not get “too much” glitter on the brush, because I didn’t want to overwhelm the purple prettiness underneath it.

What you see on the pictures is one coat of glitter topped with a layer of topcoat:

Amazing, right? This glitter can definitely work on its own; I don’t think it would take more than two coats to achieve full opacity!

The polishes:

Sometimes it’s nice with a simple glitter mani without stripes, dots or stamping. I really like this!

Both Magical, Mystical Love and Bad Catholic were limited edition and are now discontinued.
