LynBDesigns ~ Okay? Okay

LynBDesigns ~ Okay? Okay
Baby blue linear holo

Okay? Okay is from the Fault in our stars-collection. It’s described as a sky blue linear holo creme polish. I am not sure I quite agree with that description.

The formula is more of a jelly. When I applied the first coat I was sure that this was going to require at least 3 coats. I applied a second coat and it magically covered up the nail line! If you have longer and/or bigger nails than I do, you might need to use 3 coats. The drying time is pretty good.

Here’s a picture taken in the sun; two coats and no topcoat:

It’s Baby blue and much different in colour than the picture shown on LynB’s Etsy-site – click here to see the difference.
This picture is taken in the shadows:

I’m not a huge fan of pale colours like this one, but there are ways to work around that fact: dots! I used two different Gabriella Salvete polishes: Galaxy, which is blue with white glitter – I bought it in Slovenia; and True Love, which is magenta with white glitter – I bought that one in the Czech Republic. I love to dot with these polishes because the white glitter makes it look as if there are little white dots within the dots :D
Here’s a sunshine picture of my final mani:

And this picture is taken in daylight in the shade:

The dots really helped. I can’t help but thinking that my polish has faded though; the colour is so much different than on the pictures in the shop. I wish my polish was the same colour!

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Pretty good
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: It’s a little pale and I’m not sure I love the formula
Buy again: Probably not

  1. WOW what a difference in shades - I would feel very disappointed if I bought it after the shop photo!
I agree, the dots helped a lot LOL

Yeah, it's paler in reality, that's not good.

  6. I like how this looks a little dusky and sheer even though it is actually opaque.

    1. It's definitely more a polish for you than it is for me :)
