Sally Hansen Nail Prisms ~ Amber Ruby

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms ~ Amber Ruby
Red/orange/gold/green multichrome with shimmer

I am not quite sure how old this duochromatic polish is but most of the swatches I can find online is from 2011 so it’s at least 7 years old. I bought it in a blog sale recently; I thought it was way too pretty to give a miss.

To formula is really good and this baby doesn’t require coloured underwear to work. Two coats on her own is what it takes to achieve full opacity. The drying time is average.

I paired it with a glitter from Pahlish called “The Dust Witch”, which is from 2013. It’s a lovely mix of orange, olive, purple, and green metallic glitter including purple squares and green dots. I love it because it’s a glitter that doesn’t ”take over” an entire manicure – it just adds that little extra something.

This is what it all looks like in ordinary daylight.

Here’s the same thing in the lightbox.

“Amber Ruby” is gorgeous on her own. Here’s two coats in ordinary daylight. That colour is just amazing!

I love polishes that can “do” something and am really happy I snatched this oldie, but goodie!

Number of coats: 2 – no underwear required
Drying time: Average
Finish: Multichrome with shimmer
Overall impression: Fantastic shift!
Buy again: I would
