Isadora ~ Persian Princess, with dots

Isadora ~ Persian Princess
Shimmery purple – with red undertones

Persian Princess is from Isadora’s “Jewels of the Orient” collection from autumn 2012. I am very impressed by this series of polishes.

The formula is good – and not as thick as the other Isadoras I’ve got. It almost covers in one coat, but I applied two, just to make it look as good as possible. I really like this colour.

No top coat yet:

Then I made dots on it. I used Models Own’s Snow White and Barry M’s Denim. I applied the white first and then the blue, in order to be able to make the blue overlap the white partly. There’s no top coat involved just yet.
Here’s that step:

And from another angle:

Then I added glitter. I used Orly’s “Shine on Crazy Diamond”, which is a clear base with holographic glitter.

Shine on Crazy Diamond is a polish that I’m very happy to have in my stash. It’s great for spicing up almost every mani, and I love it, even though it dries a little bit slowly.

Here are the polishes involved:

Isadora: Persian Princess, Models Own: Snow White, Barry M: Denim,
Orly: Shine on Crazy Diamond

I’ve become really fond of dotticures. I love the fact that you can make your nails look like a million kroner with the very little extra effort that dots actually are. What’s your opinion about dotticures? Do you do them yourself?
