Dance Legend ~ 920 Rich Black

Dance Legend ~ 920 Rich Black
Black base packed with multicoloured and multisized glitter

Anastasia from Little World of Coloured Nails sent me this pretty glitter bomb.
It’s not a secret that I really like Dance Legend’s polishes, so I’m always happy to include more in my stash.

I dabbed a bit of the polish onto a piece of plastic to see if this polish could work alone or if I had to layer it. I was happy to see that this is indeed a “real polish” and not a topper.

The formula is nice and the glitter spreads out evenly and easily without any effort at all. And the coverage is good – it takes two coats before this is fully opaque, so that’s really good. Drying time is a bitch though. It took ages before it dried! I even used OPI’s rapidry spray but that didn’t make any difference at all.

But anyway – I finished the mani by applying one coat of Poshé topcoat, and here’s what it ended up looking like:

The pictures are all taken with flash. My own camera doesn’t work, and I can’t get the colours right with this borrowed one (unless I use flash).

I like that there’s so much glitter in it. That way it’s not “just another black”, but actually a glitter with a black base. And yes, there is a difference! ;)

Pretty, no?

And here’s one last shot, just because I can:

I didn’t do nail art on this, because frankly, I didn’t quite know what would work with this kind of glitter. I’d love to hear your suggestions if you have any thoughts about it, though! :)

  1. It is super pretty, and I agree nail art on this would have been a bit "crowded" - darn about the slow dry time tho...
