Darling Diva ~ Wardrobe Malfunction

Darling Diva ~ Wardrobe Malfunction
Blurple soft linear holographic

Darling Diva! I love the name, and I really like the polishes too. Wardrobe Malfunction looks really lovely in the bottle. Shimmery, softly holographic, pretty purple.

The formula is really good, I had no problems with application. I just used my regular basecoat and didn’t experience any problems with dragging or anything. It did take three coats for full opacity – I had hoped for two, but I always do that, so …. :)  Drying time is pretty average. I did experience that the polish dried up a tiny bit gritty. Nothing major, but it was as if the little added microglitters are standing out a bit when the polish dries. It’s not a problem: One coat of H K Girl topcoat fixed it! ;)

Here it is, my dear girls, in all its glory and in the sunshine:

I love this polish. I’m usually more into in your face linear holos, but the colour of this one is SO pretty, that I just have to love it!

Blue and purple = blurple. I quite like the name Purlue (Purple & Blue). Why
isn’t  that a Polish name?

Anyway – moving on. Then I stamped on it. I chose a whole nail heart design from the Apipila 01 stamping plate, and I stamped with Color Club’s “Cloud Nine”, which is a strong pink linear holo – and great for stamping! When the stamping was done, I sealed the whole thing up with another layer of H K Girl topcoat and I was ready to go out:

I can see that it’s actually hard to see the hearts in direct sunshine:

Let me fix that. Here’s a picture taken in the shadow:

The picture in the shadow also shows why I like this a lot. The polish is pretty both in sunshine and in the shadow – that’s so cool!

I can see that Wardrobe Malfunction is about to be discontinued, so if you want a bottle, you better hurry up!
