Glitter Gal ~ Transfusion (Limited Edition)

Glitter Gal ~ Transfusion (Limited Edition)
Dark red-ish purple linear holographic

I promised you yesterday in my post about Glitter Gal’s Hot Chili that I’d show you her sister, Transfusion, today (click here to see Hot Chili). Hot Chili is red, and Transfusion is purple, but leaning towards dark burgundy.

The application was a piece of cake – I’ve yet to experience problems with Glitter Gal’s polishes. Drying time is good, and it takes two coats to reach full opacity. Transfusion is way darker than her sister, and I have to say that her rainbows aren’t as prominent. Damn!

Take a look for yourself, this is two coats, no topcoat in direct sunlight:

It’s pretty, yes, but where are my fantastic rainbows? Glitter Gals usually make some fantastic rainbows, but…

I twisted and turned both my fingers and the camera, but I could only get it to flash tiny little rainbows, almost not worth mentioning… :/

This is pretty much the best I could do:

It’s not to be ungrateful, because it’s better than nothing, but it’s definitely not as strong as I expected it to be. Or wanted it to be.

When I look at this polish in the shadow it’s very dark purple, almost so dark that it looks black. Those of you who have followed my blog for a while will know that I’m not fond of wearing “just black”. That’s also why this polish will never be my favourite Glitter Gal polish.

My favourite is indeed Teal Green, which I showed you here.

So anyway – did you snatch any of the two limited edition Glitter Gals?
