Lilac, blue and copper glitter

Here’s the third out of four Morgan Taylor polishes. This one is the one with the ultimate coolest name. I mean… ít’s not that it makes any sense in relation to the polish, but yes, Let them eat cake! Hahaha!!

The base is only slightly tinted, so this polish looks more like a topper than a real polish compared to its sisters. I tried to build it up to full opacity anyway, just for the experiment and it took three easy coats to get rid of the visible nail line. The drying time is quite good, so it wasn’t a problem for me with the three layers. And there’s sparkle and shine in this baby for sure, and it gets even sparklier if you add a topcoat like I did. I used Poshé, and here’s what this first step looks like:

This glitter is not as “in your face” as the other glitters, and if you’re the kind of girl who likes a mix of naked nails and bling, then just add one coat of this, and you’re ready to rock and roll! :D

You know I like glitter, don’t you? I mean, I really like glitter, you know that by now. So I decided to add glitter on top of the glitter! :D I had OPI’s Polka.com sitting in my box of stash of untrieds. Polka.com is from the Euro Centrale collection from spring 2013 and is a mix of blue and pink hexagons in a clear base.

I dabbed the glitter on – that’s the only way to get them to spread out evenly. And the amount of glitters on my nails here is the result of one dip in the bottle per nail. Another layer of Poshé topcoat finished off the mani.

I quite like the extra bling that the less discrete Polka.com adds to the mani!
