P2 ~ 040 Illegal

P2 ~ 040 Illegal
Red textured with golden shimmer

Here’s another one of my textured polishes from P2, which is a German brand sold exclusively in the German drug store DM. I love P2’s polishes. They’re great quality at cheap prices, and they always have something I like.

The formula is great, and it was almost opaque in one coat. I applied two anyway, for the extra texture and for depth of colour, and just because. I’ve noted that it didn’t make that much of a difference, so a day when I’m in a hurry, this is definitely a ready-to-go polish!

Enough of the talking, here it is! Two coats, no topcoat:

This is way prettier in real life than these pictures suggest! I haven’t taken these pictures with my own camera, so I had some problems getting them quite right:

I decided to do some really fast nail art on it, because I had started doing my nails pretty late in the evening. So I went for dots. Four white dots on each nail to be exact! I used Essence 50’s Girls Reloaded “Ahoy!” for the dots. It’s just an ordinary white crème polish, and here’s the result:

There’s still no topcoat on. The texture is funny – it feels a little bit “dusty” when you touch it.

I ended up topcoating it anyway, to protect the dots. I just used a thin one, so I still had the textured feeling.

I totally like these textured polishes from P2, and fortunately I have one more of them ^_^

Have you ever tried P2’s polishes? Would you like to?
