Spell Polish ~ Troll

Spell Polish ~ Troll
Green and gold duo-chrome with hints of blue, featuring holographic glitters

Spell is a new brand to me, so I was glad to receive a couple of them in my latest monthly package from Norway Nails. It’s always nice to try out new brands.

The formula is a bit sheer, but it builds up. I’ve read that it’s gorgeous over black, but I like to see how my pretties work on their own. Troll was pretty much opaque after two coats, but I added a third coat to make sure that it would present itself from its prettiest side. The smell of the polish is odd. Not bad, but, y’know… odd.

Here are three coats and a layer of topcoat in the sunshine.

I love the added holo glitters, they sparkle so nicely!

You can tell that this is both golden, green and blue, right?

Here’s a lightbox picture. The holo glitters aren’t shy at all!

The duochromatic effect isn’t prominent but it’s there.

Here’s the card that came with the polish:

Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Average
Finish: Duochrome with shimmer and holo glitters
Overall impression: It looks really nice both in and out of the sun, and I love that the holo glitters aren’t shy.
Buy again: No

I bought my Spell polishes from norwaynails.com.

  3. I think this troll is very interesting, maybe he feels you do not like him and the poor troll farts in the polish creating that odd smell :D
