El Corazón Matte &
Shine Effect ~ #167 & #166
Pink and mint matte shiny
I knew I had to have a successful mani after yesterday’s fail so I
looked through my new El Corazóns. I chose a pink and a mint from the new
collection “Matte & Shiny Effect”. It intrigues me how it can be both matte
and shiny at the same time, so I had to try them to see for myself!
I started out with two coats of #167, the pink one. The formula is good
and easy to work with and it dries fast. I used two coats. Then I grabbed a striper and made
stripes with #166, the mint one. It has great coverage so I didn’t have to go
over the stripes again with the striper; once was enough.
And here’s what it looks like without the topcoat:
Matte and Shiny – how about that!!
I applied topcoat because I like it better that way. It made the colours
come more together; take a look at the final mani here.
It’s funny. The mint looks green in the bottle, but on the pink it looks
blue. Freaky deaky!
Yes! That’s how I wanted it!

Aww, this is darn cute - it makes me think of cupcakes and candy - don't ask me why :D Probably the colors and stripes, come to think of it ;)
