Edgy Polish Exclusives

Today I’m going to show you two Edgy Polish Exclusives: Pink Elephant and Kiwi-Colada. They’re both microglitters with added holo microglitter. Yay!

The first one is Pink Elephant. It’s described as pastel neon coral pink nail polish with holographic micro glitter. That sounds about right. The formula is good and easy to work with. The polish covers really well too – it only took two easy coats to make this Elephant opaque. The drying time is really good. It dries up semi matte, so I applied a layer of topcoat before I took my photos.

Here’s two coats and a layer of topcoat in the sun:

I love the way the holo glitter sparkles!

Shiny, shiny, shiny…

Here’s a picture taken in low lights. The polish still sparkles; I’m impressed.

Verdict:

I like Pink Elephant a lot. I’m positively surprised over the coverage and the drying time, and I love the sparkles.

The other Edgy Polish Exclusive is Kiwi-Colada. It’s described as pastel neon green nail polish with holographic micro glitter. That sounds like the polish I’m looking at. So far, so good.

The formula is also good on Kiwi-Colada, but the coverage not as good as the Pink Elephant. I was not satisfied with coverage after two coats so I added a third, and that helped. The drying time is good, but Pink Elephant’s drying time is a fraction better. Kiwi-Colada also dries up semi matte, so I added a layer of topcoat and then I took my photos.

Kiwi-Colada also knows how to sparkle.

Look at that, isn’t it just pretty?!

Verdict:

I thought that Kiwi-Colada was going to be my favourite of the two, but I like Pink Elephant much better. Kiwi-Colada has got a really cool green colour and the sparkles are so pretty. The extra coat pulls down a little bit though, but only a little bit. All in all it’s a great spring colour.
