El Corazón ~ Japanese Silk 423/939 and 423/940

El Corazón ~ Japanese Silk 423/939 and 423/940
Purple and blue shimmer

I got a handful of El Corazón polishes that I was eager to try out. I decided to try two at a time. The first two are 423/939, which is purple and 423/940, which is blue.

The polishes are both easy to apply but this entire series of Japanese Silk polishes are very prone to brush strokes. I don’t mind that at all, so it’s no big deal for me.

I used two coats for full coverage and the drying time is good. The blue smells really weird, and I can’t remember I’ve had any other El Corazón that smells like that. It’s odd, isn’t it?!

The white polish on the two middle fingers is also an El Corazón, namely M&S-172, which I often use for nail art that includes white.

Here are the three polishes:

I like dots and stripes! How about you?

Oh! And somebody thinks that this humble blog is really good, take a look:

  4. My guess is the blue polish contains cobalt pigment, which contains sulphur, making it smell odd. :-)
