Lacquester ~ October Green

Lacquester ~ October Green
Army green with ultra chrome chameleon flakies, gold flakies and a dash of scattered holo

October Green is a Facebook custom from October 2016. The group had two customs made at the time, and none of them were really my colours. I do have a thing for customs though so I decided to give this green a go.

I used three coats for my mani. I have seen other girls get good coverage with two coats, but I still had a couple of bald spots after the first two coats so I applied a third coat to get full opacity. The drying time is pretty good.

I placed a little iridescent star by the base of each nail while the polish was still wet, and then sealed it all up with a layer of topcoat.

Here’s three coats and a layer of topcoat taken with flash.

The pictures don’t quite do the iridescent stars justice. They’re way prettier and shinier in real life.

This picture is taken in ordinary daylight, no flash.

The polish is pretty and I really like the many flakies in it. It’s not my colour at all though so I think I will have to find a new and better home for it.

Number of coats: 3
Drying time: Good
Finish: Flakie
Overall impression: I like the flakies, but am not crazy about the colour or the three coats
Buy again: No
