Masura ~ Rainbow over the Waterfall

Sky blue linear holo

Today I mixed blue and purple! Masura is a blue holo that I used as my base colour. I used two easy and fast drying coats. The purple is from Sephora’s Formula X collection and is called Astonishing. Astonishing is a purple texture and it’s been over three years since I pulled it out of the Helmer last. It had thickened quite a lot over the years and it took quite a lot of thinner to restore the polish back to a usable state. I managed, and this is what my mani ended up looking like, including a layer of topcoat:

This picture is taken in ordinary daylight, just to show that Rainbow over the Waterfall also looks pretty outside the flashlight.

This is Rainbow over the Waterfall on its own. It’s a pretty blue.

These are the two pretty sisters. They do look great together in my opinion.

I was surprised to see how much the purple had thickened and thought that it might be a good idea to go through the other polishes to see if there are others that need a bit of thinner.

Finish: Weak linear holo

Overall impression: Good basic sky blue holo. Very usable for nail art.
