I think mini polishes are really cute. So when I saw mini Color Clubs on the ferry on the way to Germany this summer I just knew I had to have a couple. I bought four, of which “Too Violet” is one.

Too Violet was opaque in one coat, which was unexpected but nice. I applied two anyway, just because I wanted to, and out of habit, I guess. The formula was a bit on the thick side – I think that’s the first time I’ve experienced that with a Color Club. It might be to do with the fact that it was really warm the day I applied this.

So anyway – enough talking – here’s two coats of Too Violet, and one coat of Seche Vite top coat.

The polish appears a little bit “dusty” on these pics, but it wasn’t in real life. It also dries up gritty, but one layer of topcoat solves that little problem.  

I used a stamp from Bundlemonster called BM-316, and I used Konad’s white stamping polish. I sealed it up with Seche Vite, and my mani was done:

I really like this design. I made sure to place the stamp differently on each nail to make it look as random as I could.

I actually paid the same for each of the minis that I usually pay overseas for a normal sized Color Club polish, but hey – cuteness is what we’re aiming for, and is allowed to cost a little bit extra ;)
