Here are a couple of polishes that have been sitting in my stash of untrieds for a while now. Time to give them a day out! I started off with two coats of Maybelline’s “Tenacious Teal”. I actually don’t think it is teal at all, I think it’s green. The formula was only so-so. The first coat looked streaky and awful, but the second coat levelled it all out after a bit of careful work.

Here’s what that polish looks like, without top coat:

Then I taped my nails diagonally across with masking tape, and painted the lower half of my nails with a coat of one of my polishes from Japan: pa “AA27”. Man!! Those Japanese glitters are just gorgeous, I love them!

Here’s that step. There’s one coat of Seche Vite top coat over it:

It’s on purpose that the lines are curvy. I used a pair of craft scissors to cut the tape with. Next time I’ll buy scissors where the curve is sharper, so it shows more on the nails. Here’s what my scissors look like:

For the stamping part I chose Mash stamping plate number 49, and I stamped with a very dark green/teal from Hot Looks, called “Shameless”. I used Seche Vite as my top coat to seal the design up:

And from a different angle:

The stamping does a lot for me. I mean, I like the angled glitter over the plain crème, but the stamp just adds that little extra, that I like so much. But enough about what I like. Do you like this?
