I gave most of OPI’s Coca Cola Collection a miss. Most of you have
probably seen them all by now, but here’s what the entire collection looks
like:
I only bought the two oranges. “Two oranges?”, I hear you think, “but
there was only one orange in the collection!” That’s almost true, but only
almost.
Here are the two oranges I bought:
The orange crème is called Orange You Stylish! and the orange glitter is
called Orange You Fantastic!
Orange You Fantastic was made for the US market. It wasn’t displayed here
so I had to swap my way to the bottle I’ve got. It’s an orange jelly packed
with orange and golden glitters. It builds up nicely in two coats, but I
decided to wear three coats, just to make sure that there were no thinner
spots. Here’s what Orange You Fantastic looks like in the sun; 3 coats:
I think it’s an amazing glitter!
One last shot:
Orange You Stylish was made for the European market and hasn’t been
displayed in the US
as far as I know (please do correct me if I’m wrong!) It’s an orange crème. The
formula is good, and it covers in two coats. I wear three coats on these
pictures, but no topcoat.
Three coats, no topcoat:
This is an orange that dries up much nicer on the nails – it’s looking
clearer (or less dusty) than it does in the bottle.
I actually quite like this!
Here are a couple of bonus shots for you: Orange You Stylish with a
reversed glitter gradient of Orange You Fantastic:
The two polishes look great together imo!
Why OPI decided to release two so different polishes on the two markets
is a mystery to me. I am glad I’ve got both versions though, because I think
it’s a curiosity that they made two.
So, did you know that there were two versions of orange in OPI’s Coca
Cola collection? Which one do you prefer? Would you also have bought both?
Beautiful gradient! I only have the creme one but seeing them together makes me want to get the glitter too :D
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah, I know exactly what that feels like :D
DeleteTwo great polishes, esspecially the glitter one. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased to hear you like it too :)
DeleteLovely gradient! The glitter itself reminds me slightly of Wibo, Rio, nr 3 if I'm right about the number, but it's nicer.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, I love that gradient too :)
DeleteThat's cool to have both! Orange You Fantastic is a yummy and beautiful glitter, and the combo of the both is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI think it's cool to own both too! :) And thank you :)
DeleteI'm in the US so I have the glitter but I'm trying to find a way to get my hands on that pretty orange cream :)
ReplyDeletePlease let me know if you want me to help you out :)
DeleteI like them both and the gradient ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks sweetie! :)
DeleteI do like the glittery one :-)
ReplyDeleteMe too! :)
DeleteWow I so love orange you fantastic. Definitely worth the swap! The glitter gradient looks awesome over orange you stylish.
ReplyDeleteThank you - I think it's cool that they go well together :)
DeleteNice polishes, I like the combined mani, they look great together.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I am so pleased to hear that :)
DeleteOh, I haven't seen the glitter polish before! Your glitter gradient is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :)
DeleteOrange isn't my favorite polish color but over the summer I added a handful of them to my collection. It's definitely a fun color to have. Both of these ones are gorgeous! I would totally wear them myself.
ReplyDeleteIt is funny how a "new" colour can suddenly sneak into a collection. I love most of the oranges I found :)
