Green Velvet Cupcake is from the core collection.

The formula is great and the polish is so easy to work with. It takes two easy coats to make it opaque and the drying time between the coats is pretty good.

And here’s a lovely, lovely green – I love the name too! Two coats and no topcoat; the picture is taken with flash:

Look at the scattered holo effect!

It’s such a nice colour, so easy on the eyes! :)

I considered stamping on it but I changed my mind. I sponged glitter on the tips instead. I used LynBDesigns’ “Oh, You Beautiful Idiot”, which is a clear base with blue and green glitters and tiny stars. I applied a layer of topcoat before I took the pics of my final mani:

I love the effect of glittery fingertips!

“Oh You Beautiful Idiot” requires special topcoating to get smooth. I ended up with two coats of topcoat and even then the glitter was still really bumpy! Fortunately I don’t mind that, but I just thought I’d mention it.
