Colors by Llarowe ~ Dock of the Bay

Colors by Llarowe ~ Dock of the Bay
Magenta red linear holo

Dock of the Bay is from the Emily's Imagination Collection from summer 2014.

The formula is good and this is almost a one coater. The second coat did make a difference; the colour went just a fraction deeper, so I do recommend two coats. The drying time is good.

Get ready to be amazed, because Dock of the Bay is a beauty in the sun. Take a look at two coats and no topcoat:

The rainbows are mesmerizing, no less.

The colour gets more muted in low lights but you can still see a rainbow or two struggling to get out and play :D

I made three blue stripes on each nail. I used Nabi Hologram “Ocean Blue” for that purpose, and when that was dry I applied a layer of topcoat.

Here’s my final mani:

I love both these polishes. And I love taking pictures of holos in the sunshine <3

Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Good
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: This polish is breath taking in the sunshine!
Buy again: Yes

  7. Even though the holo is amazing in the sun I like the slightly duochrome effect in low light.
