Anonymous Lacquer ~ Blue
Bloods
Ultra blue linear holo
Today I’m going to show you another one of the Anonymous Lacquers I
bought. Blue Bloods is seriously pretty in the bottle, so let’s see if the
prettiness tranfers onto the nails, shall we?
The formula was good, but the polish had a tendency to drag when I
applied the first coat. You pretty much have to do your nails in three straight
strokes in order to avoid it. Fortunately the second coat is very forgiving and
I didn’t have any dragging when I applied it. Coverage is really good. Drying
time too.
The sun played hide and seek so I gave up the waiting eventually and
settled with my flash. Here’s two coats and no topcoat:
I think these rainbows are adorable!
Here’s a low light picture. The colour is slightly dusty, but the
rainbows refuse to not shine!
I made a white line down each nail. Then I painted a pink glittery line
on each side of the white and one down the middle. The pink striper is from
Moyra, I bought it in Hungary
and it hasn’t got a name. The more stripes I painted, the more gloopy the
polish got, and at the end it felt almost impossible to paint with. But I
managed, phew!
Here’s my final result with flash:
And here’s a low light picture.
There’s one layer of topcoat on the picture, but I ended up wearing this
with two coats. The gloopy glitter was a bit too bumpy for my liking, so I felt
an extra layer was necessary :D
Note: Blue Blood stained my nails.
Number of coats: 2
Drying time: Really good
Drying time: Really good
Finish: Linear holo
Overall impression: I like it! The colour is nice and the rainbows great. It’s prone to dragging though

DeleteThis is just such a gorgeous polish! It was one of my first from the brand.
ReplyDeleteReally? I bought five at the same time, and am happy with all of them :)
DeleteIt looks nice but I hate when they stain...
ReplyDeleteMe too! Fortunately it takes a lot for the polishes to stain on my nails :)
DeleteIt's a beautiful blue holo! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is! I love it too :)
DeleteBlue Bloods earns its name. I love the holo effect of it, and no strikes or dragging is visible!
ReplyDeleteThe second coat did its magic :D
DeleteWow! this is such a striking mani. Love the holo effect and the stripes you painted on it. Lovely blog here btw! Would you like to follow each other on GFC? Please let me know on my blog so I can follow back. Thank you.

DeleteGorgeous holo, it looks really amazing :-D
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet of you, thank you! :)
DeleteWhat a gorgeous blue holo <3
ReplyDeleteThank you, I think so too :)
DeleteOn what a stunning blue. Damn staining. Still I'd probably wear it anyway! No one ever sees my naked nails anyway. You did well with the pink glitter.
ReplyDeleteIt isn't much that stains on me, so I'll wear pretty much anything, stains or not. Besides, I always wear polish anyway, so staining doesn't matter :)
DeleteThank you!
I like a good dark blue like this one!
ReplyDeleteMe too :)
DeleteIt's so pretty, that I'd forgive the stains :))
ReplyDeleteI have already forgiven it :)
