Orange linear holo

I received Am I Ginger? in a swap because it was on my wish list. The shade of orange wasn’t just what I expected, so I decided to try and layer it as well.

So here’s what I did: I used two coats of Am I Ginger? on its own on my pinkie and my pointer. The middle finger and the ring finger had a layer of Douglas’ “Ready to Go” as underwear. It’s a lovely shimmery orange which covers in one perfect coat. Over that I applied just one coat of Am I Ginger?.

There’s quite a difference, huh? The holo effect is way wilder when the LynB is on its own, but bear in mind that the nails with underwear only has got one coat of holo goodness.

I did another attempt of a leopard mani, because I do believe that practice makes perfect. I used a lovely cherry red matte polish from Golden Rose: #02. Here’s my final mani with flash:

And here’s a low light picture too, to show the colour difference with and without underwear. I low lights I like it more with underwear but in the sun I like it more alone.

Here are the three polishes I used. On this picture you can see the orange LynB better, and perhaps you understand why I tried to layer it?

So, how was I doing with the leopard spots this time? Please be gentle – it’s still a learning curve, haha!

Overall impression: The rainbows are really awesome. The colour has an Autumn tone to it that isn’t quite me, but that’s not the polish’s fault!
