Lilypad Lacquer ~ This Heart of Mine

Blue base packed with purple shimmer, and purple and multi coloured flakies

This Heart of Mine is made exclusively for Color4Nails. I must admit that I took a while to actually buy it. Most of the polishes I buy are holos, because I love holos, but in the end I gave in and bought it along with its sister, Wreckless Intensions, that I will show you tomorrow.

The formula is a little bit on the sheer side. I used three coats for desired opacity and the third layer wasn’t just for the camera. The drying time is pretty good.

Here’s three coats and no topcoat:

I really like the colour, so I’m glad it ended up in my stash after all. I had to holofy it a little bit though. I added a layer of Northern Lights holo topcoat, and this is my final mani:

Uh yes, I like it! I can’t wait to actually wear the other one in the set.

Finish: Shimmer with flakies

Overall impression: I like the colour and the flakies. The three coats not so much

Buy again: I think I would
