El Corazón ~ m&s-164

Magenta packed with shimmer, silk effect

M&S-164 is from El Corazón’s Matte&Shine series. Before I actually bought some of the polishes I didn’t quite understand how a polish could be both matte and shiny. But these polishes can. They dry up to a silky smooth finish and the shimmer makes them shine. So yes, they are indeed both matte and shiny.

The formula is really good. I remember these as being tricky to apply because they dry super fast. But either this colour is different or my application skills has improved since then :D Either way the coverage is really good and you could easily get away with one coat. I used two because that is why I prefer.

The drying time is super fast.

I think this polish is super beautiful.

I applied a layer of Out the Door’s Northern Lights, a holo glitter topcoat, and then I stamped on it. I found my motiv on the stamping plate UR Beautiful-14 and I stamped with a deep purple polish from Pure Ice called Last Chance. I sealed the whole thing up with a layer of Moyra’s stamping topcoat.

I actually expected the Pure Ice polish to be way more visible on the El Corazón. But having said that: I like subtle stamping. How about you?
