Born Pretty Holo Powder

Have you seen all the pretty and wild holographic nails out there, all created with holo powder? I have and I’ve been wanting to try that myself ever since I saw it for the first time. Today is the day!

The holo goodness comes in a little container and there’s an applicator in the bag too.

It looks like this:

I decided to use it over a glitter base from Dance Legend. The texture of that base is a bit ”rubber-y”, which gives a good base for the holo. Ideally you’d use it with gel polish, but I don’t have that so that’s not an option for me.

Anyway – one layer of black base and when that was dry, I started dapping the powder on with the applicator. When the nails were covered in powder, I started rubbing it into the base, and that is when the magic happened.

Look, rainbows!!

I love rainbows and this powder is just magical!
