Tonic Polish ~ Turquoise with orange shimmer - prototype

Tonic Polish ~ Turquoise with orange shimmer - prototype
Turquoise with orange shimmer

Tonic Polish put a bunch of prototypes up for sale recently and I bought some of them. I love surprises in the shape of grab bags, but I must admit that I'm beginning to reach a point where I might stop buying them. My collection of polish is big now and it's really nice to actually pick the exact polishes you want. We'll see if I stick to that - or if I keep buying surprise nail mail.

This prototype is a beautiful turquoise with a lovely pink/orange shimmer.

The formula looks sheer but it isn't; it covers well in two easy coats. The drying time was good.

I made a stripe down each nail. I used a no name metallic from Mara for that. I topped it all with a lovely flakie from Born Pretty Store called "Star Girl".

Here's the end result, including a layer of topcoat. This photo is taken in the sun.

Here's the same thing under my lamp so you can see all the lovely flakies.

Here's the Tonic alone; two coats and no topcoat. Look at that pretty shimmer.
